packets received unknown

Noticed our SQL server's network interface's light is always on so did a
little investigation.

Ran a performance monitor on the NIC and noticed that "packets received
unknown" is at 100% all the time.

anyone have any ideas how I would chase that down?

Install and use Network Monitor. It comes with Windows Server.

I did do that, but all the TCPIP traffic seems legit from other PC's. Just
can't figure out why "packets received unkown" is pegged on my SQL server?

Unless for some strange reason its normal.
