Packaging error when installing on Vista OS

G

Guest

Hi all,

I have attempted to install a packaged database on a Vista OS. I receive
this message during the install process:

"The application you are installing requires updated system components. To
conintue, install the Office System Pack."

Can anyone tell me where I need to go to get the OSP? Does the software
need a file(s) added when it is being packaged?

Any help appreciated.

Thank you very much Tom. That did the trick.

Hi Connie,

This KB article appears to have a resolution for you:

You may receive error messages when you install an Access 2002 runtime
deployment package on a computer that is running Windows XP SP2, Windows
Server 2003, or Windows Vista
