Pack & Go Wizard

I'm using PPt 2000 on Win 98. I'm trying to use Pack & Go to transfer
my presentation to a CD. When I attempt to use Pack & Go Wizard I get
the message: "Invalid destination directory." I have no trouble saving
the presentation to a CD in my D: drive using other software, but PPt
doesn't accept D: as valid. Any suggestions on how I might track down
what's wrong?

What's wrong is that you need to pack your presentation to your hard drive.
Then you'll probably want to unpack it, especially if you're sending the CD to
someone else. Then open your CD burning software (Nero, Easy CD Creator, etc.)
that came with your CD burner. Burn the unpacked files to the CD.

PowerPoint and Windows 98 are not equipped to write directly to a CD. Only
Windows XP can do that.

Thanks Sonia, that seemed to work o.k. - but I forgot to unpack it
first. So now I have the CD with 2 files: pngsetup.exe and pres0.ppz
I'm going to show this presentation on another computer. Can I unpack
it from the CD on the other computer?
Will double clicking on the pngsetup.exe file be all that I need to do?
(I included the reader in the P&G as I don't think
PowerPoint is installed on the other computer).

Just dump the two files to hard disk on the other system and unpack them there.
You can't unpack to the CD.
