Pack and Go Viewer

When going through Pack and Go Wizard, My Version (2002) will no allow me to
add "viewer for Microsoft Windows" When I press the button to <Download the
Viewer> Microsoft.com tells me that that file is not available. I have tried
to download 2003 Viewer, which supports 2002 files - but all that does is let
me view ppt presentations myself - it will not let me attach viewer to
outgoing files. Anyone have any suggestions? My IT department is not very
helpful!!

Thanks,

This is because the PPT 2003 Viewer was not available when PPT 2002 was
released. So 2002 uses the old 97 Viewer, and that Viewer doesn't support
the 2002 animations.

What I'd do is create the thing manually. Here are instructions:

First off: What Echo said. Your best bet, I think, will be to follow her
instructions for creating a CD manually.

But if animation support isn't an issue, the old viewer might be sufficient.
If memory serves, it's on the Office 2002 CD, either in a ValuePack folder or
available as part of a custom install. Look for the folder first, and if it's
not there try rerunning Setup to add the viewer (if possible).

Once the older viewer's installed, Pack 'n Go should be able to use it; but
again, it won't support the new animations in 2002.
