I loaded Power Point 2003 - tried to package a
presentation for CD - went to the file menue and "package
for CD" was not listed? What am'I doing wrong?

Did you do a typical install? If so, you may not have loaded that option.
Grab your install CDs, run setup, do a custom install and add that option
(and any others that aren't checked that you now know you need).
