P4P800Deluxe and radeon 9600SE

I have an Asus motherboard P4P800 Deluxe and I am trying to put in an
Ati Radeon 9600SE (AGP)..I can't seem to install the driver for the
video card(It will not start from the cd, I get an error telling me to
install it through the standard graphic adapter (VGA))..I have
Standard PCI Graphic Adapter and standard PCI Graphic adapter (VGA)
installed and when I try to install the Radeon in the vga spot, it
asks to restart and it changes back to the standard..Is this board
compatable with this motherboard...Any info is greatly appreciated

I don't have your motherboard, at least not yet ;), but the way you normally
install a graphics card it to set your system back to default video
settings. Then install the new driver. Does the booklet you got with the
card not say how it should be installed? Maybe the Radeon site would say
something.

Are you running WinXP? Some cards don't have a certain voltage needed for
some motherboards. I think .5 volts means something, but that card is new
and it should work. And I am not really sure what you mean by "in the VGA
spot".
