P4P800 Deluxe update bios to ver. 1015

I flashed my bios last night using the Asus Live update ver. 5.23.02
running window XP, P4, 3.0. Everything went fine with one exception.
Windows shows the Bios to be the correct version (1015) and date
(01/28/04) but when I boot in to the Bios utility, it shows the be
8109, but with the correct date of 01/28/04. Am I missing something
or is this normal?

That is correct. That is the chip. It shows that for 1014, 1012, you name
it.
