This motherboard was working for 2.5 years with no to much problem.
Suddently it stop working and reboot but when it try to reboot I can
heard un message "fail because overclocking" I never overclock this
motherboard.
I try several time to reboot but if the power supply, hard drive, led on
the board, nothing else was working, no image no message. I take the
batterie of and clear the bios. I try to reboot several time nothing at
all except for the PS, Hard Drive and led on the board.
Several day pass and I try to reboot with no luck, I let the computer on
for 15 minutes and reboot suddently the computer ask me for BIOS.
I put the disk with bios ver 1021 and the computer flash the bios,
I restart the computer, get POS, go on setup look on the setting but
don't see any overclocking, the speed of CPU was At 2400 MHZ.
Put the setup to default and reboot. first time I reached the window but
stop here.
I reboot several time finaly I got the computer to work for 10 minutes
and it try to reboot by itself but this time instead of the POS image I
have the message "BAD BIOS CHECKSUM"
And the computer try to read my floppy and the CD to find the bios.
I put the bios and it flash the bios another time.
I reboot and everything was working for a while but after a while the
computer try again to reboot but instead same message ""BAD BIOS
CHECKSUM" and do another flash and reboot fine let me work for fews
minutes and crash and so one.
Now if I wait 15 to 30 minutes and I reboot nothing happen at first or I
heard the message about overclocking, I wait 10 minute and I reboot the
post ccome up and the window too but sometime I have the blue screen
with tis message" Stop: c000021a {Fatal System Error}
The windows Logon Process System Process terminated unexpectedly with a
stats 0f 0xc0000005 (0x00000000 0x00000000).
the sytem has been shut down."
In breef I cannot working on this computer more as 30 minutes.
Any Idea?

Thank you.

I had a similar problem recently.
Same overclocking voice heard
I discovered the power supply was not putting out enough current to power
mobo
Although voltages were OK current on the rails was too low.
This was a difficult problem to realize.

I suggest you try to boot the system using a different power supply with the
highest current ratings you can find.
My bet is your board will work again just like before...

Alternatively, you could try lowering the load by reducing the number
of devices connected to the power supply.

Cut down to just one disk drive if possible. Disconnect your cd / dvd
drive, remove any un-needed PCI cards.

A lot of people forget that todays advanced power supplies are still
electronics. While they are not as sophisticated as the motherboard,
they still can fail. Power supplies in particular should, IMHO, never
be run at more than 80% of their rated capacity. If you are running
the power supply right near its limit, then you could be overstressing
it, which could cause it to go "soft".

It never hurts to have a little extra head room when analog
electronics - like those in the power supply - are involved.
