P4P800 - BIOS - USB 2.0 controller mode

The BIOS allows you to set the USB 2.0 controller to one of two modes:

Full Speed (12 Mbps) and HiSpeed (480 Mbps)

That seems like quite a difference. Is the the high speed really that
fast and if it is, why would anyone select the lower speed?

Full speed is the speed of USB 1.1.

The 12 Mbps setting is USB ver. 1.1

The 480 Mbps setting is USB ver. 2.0

Use HiSpeed.
