what u think about this motherboard ?... betwen the P4C800 and P4C800-E ???

a new mother board little after the -E version ??? better ?

hi

i thik we have a big difference because the -E have the "ICH5R" and the
possibility to boot in Raid 0 with S-ATA without IDE drive... in the P4C800
Deluxe we dont have this possibility i think not in the boot in S-ATA and
this for me its very usful...

i think they have more difference...

no one know when this MB its ok for buy in france ???

Wrong: with the "standard" P4C800 deluxe you can boot from regular S-ATA as
well from S-ATA raid 0. The diff'rence is that ICH5 doesn't have an
integratd S-ATA raid option, so the board use an external Promise
controller. The Promise raid performance is not brilliant and in a "mixed"
S-ATA+P-ATA mode, as well as in single IDE raid, the performance really
sucks.

Thought I'd drop my question in here since the subject is raid.
Just recieved a pair of -E boards,but still need to pick up some more
components before assy.
Is it possible to create a bootable 2 HD raid0 array using just the
ata133 connector,or would they have to be single HD arrays.I'm doubting
it,but the manual isn't clear.
