Too early to say.

Well, too early to say with 100% certainty, but the P4C800 should
support the FIRST Prescott CPUs, those up to 3.4GHz or so. After
that, the Prescott will change sockets.
So the P4C800-E will very likely support the Prescott, but the upgrade
path will be extremely short or nonexistent.

This is interesting stuff. Some people in the forums are angry, but
whether these boards are or are not compatible with the first
Prescott, their upgradability will definitely not go BEYOND the first
Prescotts -- i.e., (if my understanding is correct) the upgrade path
of current 865/875 motherboards stops after fourth quarter 2003 if
they're not Prescott-compatible, but it stops after first quarter 2004
even if they are. That distinction does not seem like a very big deal
to me.

Well, you decide, see these latest articles:

And I got my P4C800 D after reading it would support the next chip.
