P4C800-E Deluxe and Prescott 3.2E

Has anyone had or heard of any problems with the ASUS P4C800-E deluxe and a
Prescott chip?

I found a few posts elsewhere about problems that can sometimes be resolved
by flashing the BIOS w/the latest firmware. I have already ordered the MOBO
and CPU and now I'm wondering if they may be a bit un-friendly together.

Any thoughts?

Like many motherboards, the P4C800-E Deluxe suffered from a few
episodes of XP ->SP2 failures to boot after upgrading when equipped
with the Prescott CPU. It was simply a matter of updating the bios to
a core with the compatible microcode. The motherboard is an excellent
overclocker, although the Prescott appears to run somewhat hotter than
the Northwood versions, but many are overclocking happily.

I'm sure you will like the combination you have selected as the system
is a great performer.
