P2P issues

Primordial Ooze

I reinstalled windows xp last week and now limewire and emule wont
connect.

I have both as exceptions in my windows firewall and in my kaspersky
av.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled them both p2p programs.

I have gone to the limewire forum and tried a menu of 7 or 8 things
you can try to get it to connect

nothing works

any suggestions?

Umfortunately - you have stated you went to the proper place first (the
products with the problems' forums...) - I wouldn't expect any new
information here.

You might visit the hardware manufacturer's web page(s) for each of your
hardware components and download/install the latest per component driver -
in particular the motherboard chipset and network card.
