Windows hasn't come with any manual for many years. Microsoft is too
cheap to include one in spite of them having Microsoft Press. There
excuse in nobody reads the manual. Yet they and many others publish
books at grossly inflated prices.
You can learn everything you need to know by using Vista's build-in
help system. That is one thing that has improved considerably. Just
click on the Start Orb, then Help and Support, then Windows Online
Help and away you go.
For many years now, the enormous majority of software, including
operating system software, has been sold without an owner's manual.
There are several good books available, if you want to buy one. My
personal recommendation is "Windows Vista Inside Out."
