owner <unknown>

Hi everybody...

I've been working with MS Access for some years, but recently I got a
problem I haven't been able to solve.

Microsoft Access (2000) created an object itself (a form) it appears in the
database window but I don't have permission to handle it. I can't delete it,
nor change its name...

Its owner appear to be <unknown>...

How can I change the owner or just delete this object?

I appreciate your suggestions about this issue...

Create a new empty database and use CopyObject to transfer all the other,
valid objects from your database into the new one. I haven't had occasion to
observer Access going off on its own to create objects, but this is
certainly one way to "get rid" of the unknown-owner object.

That's strange. Sounds like you may have corrupt systems tables!

Try creating a new, empty database and use File... Get External
Data... Import to import everything from this database... except this
form of course!

Owner <unknown> usually means that the object was created while using a
different workgroup file.
