OWA 2003 - exporting messages?

hello,

i am considering using OWA 2003 for my primary email client -- im
going to be traveling europe for a few months. when i return from
europe ill probably get an internet account w/ a local ISP and get my
full Outlook client back online.

my current OWA admin doesnt offer full Outlook support yet.

is there a way to export OWA messages/folders, so that i can import
them back into my full-blown Outlook client later? keep in mind these
are run by two different admins -- one admins OWA, and he doesnt have
Outlook (proper) support. the other (my local ISP) will have Outlook
support but has nothing to do with my OWA-client mailbox.

so i just need to find out if i can export my OWA messages to a
file(s) or something.

OWA cannot export - however, you can use OWA in Outlook 2002/2003 (or OE) as
an HTTP account. Enter the full url to your mailbox -
http://owa.domain.com/exchange/mattmailbox/ download all messages and you'll
have them in a pst. It won't work with other item types, only messages as
http only supports messages.

thanks diane, i will look into this.

alternatively, i could forward the messages to my other account (some
ISP email where I'll use Outlook), IF i can forward the OWA messages
as attachements.

can this be done? in my NetAddress (pay webmail) account, "forward as
attachement" is a simple toggle. in OWA tho, i dont see anything like
that..and it forwards all my messages out as in-line text. Not useful
for archiving.

btw, if im following you that sounds like it would be cool - i would
then drag the messages (downloaded from OWA by Outlook) into my
existing archive folders..

ill check w/ my OWA-only admin. i know he uses Exchange 2003 on a
secure HTTPS protocol.
