Just recently everything in internet explorer windows
have oversized font, like they jumped from 12 to 18, how
can this be fixed?

Hi there Matt,

Click start > run > regedit.exe

Navigate to the following key:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\International\Scripts\3]
"IEFontSize"=hex:02,00,00,00

Set the IEFontSize values according to ur wish. The values for
IEFontSize are 01,02,03, and 04 with 1 being the smallest, 4 the largest and
2 being the default medium font.

For what it is worth, one of my users has the same problem.

It started earlier this week after she accessed the Microsoft Office clipart
site.

Now the fonts on that site are enormous (clip art and logos are normal size)
and even the fonts on the Yahoo main page get larger, though in that case
only one size.

Using the View menu to modify the font size works for Yahoo BUT when she
reboots the computer it reverts to the large size. And the Microsoft Office
clip art site still stays enormous. (It is as though someone had redefined
the size of the medium size in IE.)

Deleting the cookies did not help. (And the Microsoft Office site recreates
the cookies as soon as you enter. If you block cookies or do not allow them
to be read by the outside, it does not allow you access to the site.)

Editing the IEFontSize did not help for either Yahoo or the Microsoft site.

Does anyone have additional suggestions?

Is Eudora installed?

Font Changes Size in Internet Explorer 5 Using Eudora Pro 4.1 or 4.2
Fonts in Internet Explorer 5 may change size without you configuring them.

P.S. Sorry for the slow reply, but I've been out with a less arcane bug for
the past two weeks. . .
