Outputting to File (excel)

Afternoon,

I have just started using office 2007 and can't seem to enable add in's to
allow me send sent a report to Excel format via the SendObject function in a
macro.

It gives me Text, Html, Snapshot and a couple others but no Excel option
I have installed Office off the CD enabling ALL to be installed, and have
found a add in for PDF output off microsoft but thats it..

You can no longer output a report to Excel due to a change in Office 2003
and later. SendObject is used for emailing. You can output the query behind
the report to an Excel spreadsheet by using the TransferSpreadsheet Method
or macro action.

thanks for the reply. I accidently came accross sending the query to excel
from the macro when I got your reply.
