Outook 2003 not automatically filling in the FROM box

outlook 2003 does not automatically fill in the "FROM" box when I hit "Reply"
or "new" -- I have to type in my return email myself. How do I get it to
automatically fill in?
 
You shouldn't need to fill that field in. It will get added automatically
when the message is sent. Normally that field doesn't even show in the email
form unless you turned the display of it on
