outlvba.dll not a valid office add-in

hi, I'm having a problem when I open an outlook 2003 that says
"\\server\userfolders\application data\microsoft\addins\outlvba.dll" not a
valid office add-in and the outlook closes, so I can't even go to help>detect
and repair.
The application data has been redirected, but I don't know if that's the
issue here or not?
any suggestions? Saw a couple of issues related to this but no answer that
helped.

You can always get to Detect & Repair by going to Add/remove in control panel
and repairing MS Office. You can also get to it through any other Office App.
The detect/repair function is for all Office programs not just one. Not sure
what you mean about redirecting the app data, but if you can undo it, you
should since that's where the error is.

ok but redirecting application data folder, is by using group policies, so I
select in user configuration>windows settings>folder redirection> application
data.
Also, forgot to mention, the outlook instalation is being made through group
policies
and it was working fine, but now, every time I try to install, it has that
error.
