Outloook unable to function after installation to my New PC

After installing the Office XP Professional to my new PC, I can't use the
Outlook. I had a local e-mail with my local ISP using outlook express.
When I click on the Outlook icon, a message appears as:
"Unable to open your default e-mail folders. Couild not open the item. Try
again", and when I click Ok, anbother message appears as:
"Would you like to open default file System folder instead". When I click
no, it close.
Why is it so?. Prior to installing the Office XP Profession Edition, I had
download a trial version of Office 2003.(which I had uninstall before I
download Office XP).
Please Help..
Thanks

Because, perhaps, you have not created a mail profile. See this:
http://www.howto-outlook.com/faq/newprofile.htm . Be aware that if you have
data from when you used the Outlook 2003 trial, you will most likely NOT be
able to access that data with Outlook 2002.
