OutLook2003 and Exchange Server,help

B

BlackSnail

My company established internal email system with Exchange Server a few
years ago.
I always use outlook2000 to send/receive my emails.

But after I installed office2003 last week,I can't connect with Exchange
Server
with OutLook2003.

I don't know the reason.Do I misconfigured? Or Exchange Server doesn't
support OutLook2003?

Thank you in advance.

It's certainly supported more then ever actually.

The best way to go from here is to create a new mail profile. This is always
recommended practise when switching to a new mailclient. To do this;
Control Panel-> Mail-> button Show Profiles...

When I use outlook2000 to connect Exchange Server(which hosts on machine
192.9.200.1,for example),it always prompts me to fill username and passwd to
log on the machine first, then it prompts me to input mailbox address and
passwd.

But when I use outlook2003,it doesn't prompt me to fill logon username.

Is it the difference between 2000 and 2003?

I reconfigured [Control Panel -> Mail],but no effect.

Where can I find a outlook2003 step by step guide?

Thanks for your suggestion,Roady.
I access http://www.sparnaaij.net.
Maybe I can use these outlook tips when my outlook2003 is working normally.

Hi,

Where do you get stuck exactly? Are you able to access the mailbox now and
the question is that you wanted to be prompted for user credentials before
opening Outlook?

Thanks for visiting my site expanding the content is still a work in
progress but is definitely happening ;-). Toolbar customization will be the
next How To guide which will be distributed as a newsletter first.

Regards,
