I tried to upgrade to XP-PRO from WIN2000 and that failed
so I took the old hard drive and put it on another system
in a removeable case.

The new system is running xp-pro. Can I recover the old
emails from the old hard drive? I have access via the
removeable case.

If so what file am I looking for? I would like to
recover the address book as well as the old emails.

The old and the new system were both running Office 2003.

The file you need is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's where all the
mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored. It is a hidden file on Win 2K and
higher.
