Hi, can somebody please help.

I get the following message whenever I try to open outlook

unable to open your default e-mail folder
 
Hi Diane,

Not sure what you mean by what type of account...

I have both my btinternet and blueyonder accounts set up for automatic
download

they are probably POP3 accounts. Go to Control panel, mail - if you use
Vista you can type Mail in the start search field -choose the one in Control
panel. Open your profile from Mail and check your default message store.
You can create a new one so outlook opens.

If you need more help with this, we need to know your version of outlook.
