When I'm typing an e-mail message, nothing appears on the screen except a
cursor. What's wrong?

Does the cursor move? If not your keyboard may be unplugged! Don't laugh; it
happens!

Does the cursor move as you type? Maybe you're using a white font color?

Great! Good to see a problem solved. That old 'white font' syndrome catches
a few out, as does the wrong keyboard!
