I use MS Word as editor in Outlook. Delete key works ok in Word but NOT in
Outlook.

Message when hit Delete key is "Delete Block? No (Yes)?

However I can delete text by
1. highlighting and Ctrl X
2. highlighting and "backspace" OR
3. backspace.

Did I turn something "on"? "Off"?

Thanks,
Audrey

The Delete key no longer works.

It's best to post questions on Outlook to an Outlook newsgroup .

Ask in a group with OUTLOOK in the title. Notice this group lacks
that word.

And why not give the OP a link to an Outlook group (if the OP is using the
web interface the location of some groups is not overly intuitive) rather
than just being brusque?

Thanks - aha, since I turned on the WordPerfect settings when this occurred -
that must be it. Thus I will look for those settings and check. Thanks.

And thanks for the link to Outlook questions - since I have a few other
questions about formatting in Word/ Outlook also.

You're a great group of people to help us "inexperienced" --- thanks all.
