Is there anyway to minimize Outlook 2000 to the system tray? I want it to
always be checking for new messages but I don't want it taking up taskbar
space.

This is a question for an Outlook newsgroup.
 
I also want to be able minimize other programs. But specificly outlook.
 
This is for Outlook only. It used to be popular when early versions of Outlook
were slow on the draw.

You can search Google for 3rd party utilities that will place any app in the
Systray.
