Outlook XP, "the system cannot find the file specified"

Several of my end-users have windows XP with Office XP is installed. They are
using Outlook 2002 as their mail client. When they try to open an attachment
Outlook reports "The system cannot find the file specified." The attachment
has a valid file extension i.e doc or xls. If they close the error message,
and try to reopen the attachment, it can be opened....
Help!!
Thanks in advance!!!!

Clear the OutlookSecureTempFolder and see if the problem persists.
You can find the location of this folder by looking up this key;
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Outlook\Security

Or use the following tool (requires .NET Framework 1.1)
http://www.howto-outlook.com/downloads/OutlookTools.zip
Please note that this tool is still BETA
