Outlook XP: The data file mailbox was not closed properly.

The data file mailbox was not closed properly. The file is being checked...
This message keeps turning up while starting up Outlook. Outlook is being
shutdown properly. but still everytime it takes me about 20 to be able to use
outlook.
I'm using both Windows and Office XP
any idea's?

have you used Taskmanager (Ctl-Alt-Del) to ascertain that outlook.exe really
HAS closed? There might be more than one instance of it open.

Hi, I have this problem also and yes, Outlook has ended each time.

This is VERY annoying as I often have to wait up to 15-20 minutes to use
Outlook each timr I start. I can't believe there is not a fix to this
obvious bug.
