Has anyone had problems with SP3 on Outlook XP?

We use Outlook XP to connect to an Exchange Server
elsewhere and download our emails to a PST file. Lately,
Outlook have been freezing for up to 10 minutes at a time
when users (a) try to send or recieve email or (b) open
some emails.

The task manager says ther Outlook is Not Responding. We
recently install SP3.

I've been having problems since last weekend when I
installed SP3. I can no longer send/receive emails. My
ISP has not been able to help. System restore did not
help. Uninstalling Office XP and reinstalling to SP1 did
not help.

Nothing to do with SP3 then is it? Any error messages? What happens when you
try to send and receive? The generic "I can no longer send and receive" is
not a lot of help.

Ignoring Gordon's smug reply I have corrected the problem.

After further digging I ran across MS Knowledge Base
Article 834365 which led me to suspect that somehow the
settings in McAfee Firewall had been changed from full
access to "blocked" - this was the case and now it works
fine. I don't know how the settings could've been
changed - I still suspect something happened during SP3
install.
