Outlook XP & Digital ID problem

Hi,
I am having a very strange problem with my newly installed BT Trust
digital ID. Basically the digital ID installed correctly and is being
use by explorer fine, but my problem is with Outlook XP.

What happens is that the fist time (within a session) I send a message
with the digital ID attached all is fine and the recipient receives it
okay; however when I try and send another message with a digital ID
(the same ID) attached I get an error messge from the system
administrator saying that the message cannot be delivered to the
recipient - there are no header mesages or anything so I presume it
doesn't even reach the Exchange. After this has occured I cannot even
send mail without the ID attached as I get the same error - although
sending mail was working fine before.

To resolve the situation I have to restart outlook, but again I get
the same situation i.e. as soon as I have sent one digitally signed
message I get the above problems.

The mail setup uses an Exchange server which is not overloaded, so it
rules out that problem. I have also tried from my Laptop but I get the
same issues occuring. Has anyone else had these problems?
