outlook XP and windows XPSP2

I remember reading somewhere that once XPSP2 was applied, the internal
firewall caused a slight message delay for inter-office messaging under
Outlook XP. (The easiest way to test this was to simply send a message to
someone else in your organization and wait until they received
it...disabling the firewall sped up the process dramatically.)

Does anyone know the particular ports (or the kb article) that address this
issue?
