Outlook won't store password

My Outlook (Office XP) will not store the password for my e-mail. In the
morning when I turn the computer on, the first time the computer looks for my
e-mail, it always makes me retype my password. Anyone know of any glitches
like that they are experiencing and do you know a fix? (Yes, I have clicked
the little box that asks to store the password.) Thank you for answering
