Outlook won't remember username and password

I am unable to get Outlook 2002 to remember my username
and password. When I send/receive, I get the "enter
network password" box. Even if I click "save this
password," it does not. I've tried deleting the .pab file.
Suggestions?

The pab-file holds contacts so that won't help at all

For Outlook 2000 or 2002 on Win 98, NT, or 2000:
