Outlook won't open internet links in my emails anymore

My MS Outlook program used to be able to open up any internet link within any
of my emails, but in the last several months has stopped being able to. I am
not sure if I may have changed a setting and not been aware of it. It is very
difficult to contact businesses through their email links to say I no longer
want their emails, as they only have a 'UNSUBSCRIBE' link , not an Internet
address. Please help. I have Internet Explorer version 6.0 and MS Outlook
2000 SP-3.
 
Have you tried to Reset Web Settings? IE's tools, options, programs,
