Outlook will not show files to import

I downloaded a trial version of MS office 2007 and and then activated it on
line because I lost my disk ( I had saved a copy of my license ) when I go to
import the .pst file into Outlook it does see any files but does see the
fold. I have tried converting to excel and access files but it still does
not see any type of files.

Do you mean you have a version of Office/Outlook thats not working, you have
lost the disk, so downloaded the trial Version of office?
If so did you use the option to 'upgrade' your old office version?

My laptop had crashed and and I reintalled everything. I have misplace my
Office 2007 cd so I downloade a trial version. and then activated it over the
internet and that is whn the problem started. Thanks R

Well if you reinstalled everything, depending how you did this you may have
lost all your old data.
Did you use the recovery option, either from disks supplied with your
laptop, or from a hidden recovery partition?
No data backups on external media I suppose?
