Outlook will not send\receive

I'm using Outlook 2003 Teacher and Student addition. It's been functional for
about a year and all of a sudden the send\receive progress box will not go
away and email cannot be sent or received. I have loaded the latest service
packs and had microsoft check for updates. All is uo to date. i have even
reinstalled Outlook 2003. Another computer is hooked up to the same server
and is working fine.
How can this be fixed?

Hi,

Try disabling the anti-virus/firewall program installed in the computer.
Mostly, these issues happen when firewall interferes with the Outlook program.
If possible, provide the error message if there are any?
