Outlook will not connect to exchange after reinstalling Windows 2000

Outlook will not connect to exchange after reinstalling
Windows 2000. The error says that the exchange server is
unavailable. The error occurs with all profiles on that
machine. All other machines in the network can connect
without a problem.
 
Yes I can ping the exchange server. I can log onto the
domain. Everything seems to work except for connecting to
the exchange server.
