Outlook Web Access emails can be read but not replied to

I have just loaded Vista and most things seem to work well. My Outlook Web
Access works fine, bbut my wife's one, which seems older has a problem.

Emails can be opened or read in a preview pane, but if you try to reply or
forward - a red X appears in the top corner denoting, I assume, that the
image cannot be loaded.

Is there anybody out there who can help?
