Outlook vs Windows Address book

Question in a nutshell: Which one is best to use - Outlook Contacts or
Windows Address Book?

I just bought a new computer running Win XP. My Windows Address Book is
version 6.00.2900.2180. My Outlook 2000 version is 9.0.0.2711.

All of my Outlook Contacts are in my old laptop, which has a floppy drive,
no CD writable drive. My Outlook pst file is too large to copy to a floppy,
so it looks like I have to enter all those names again. If I go to all the
trouble and time to do this, I'd like to be sure Outlook is the best to use.

This is my home computer. I use AOL for email, not Outlook/Outlook Express.

I'm not sure what to do at this point. Before I begin the daunting task of
entering all my contacts by hand into a new program on my new computer, I'd
very much like to hear from anyone that has pros/cons about Outlook vs
Windows Address Book.

Thanks!

Considering what group you are in when asking, you shouldn't be surprised if
we say Microsoft Outlook hands down. ;)

If you don't want to rekey, I would just go to the old machine and copy the
contact into a new PST file. If you don't have tons, this should fit on a
floppy. If you do end up with more than what can fit on a floppy, how about
exporting your contacts to a Comma Separated Value (CSV) file.

PS - Both the Windows Address Book and Microsoft Outlook can import from a
CSV file.
