Outlook Today is blank

I had Office 2007 trial version installed on my laptop (Windows XP). I
installed Office 2003. It has been fine but then I decided to download
templates but it tries to start in Office 2007 with the installation, etc.
etc.

I then uninstalled Office 2007.

Everything is okay except Outlook 2003.
First I had IE script errors. I checked online and did various tasks and it
does not appear anymore. However, when I start Outlook, Outlook Today blinks
with what seems to be the correct data and then goes blank.

Also, when I try to send compose email it states that Microsoft Word is set
to be email editor but that Word is unavailable, not installed, or is not the
same version as Outlook. I checked and Word 2003 seems correct and is
working.

When you have both versions of Office installed and remove one you'll need
to do a repair on the one that you leave on your system. In your case;
Office 2003.

Additionally verify that your virus scanner or other anti-malware doesn't
integrate with Office or does some form of script blocking. These are known
causes for Outlook Today not functioning correctly.
