Outlook Template

I hope I am in the right discussion group.

I have created a customized outlook template and saved it as a .oft file. It
saves as a template, but when I attach the template to an email and send it
to someone else, it is getting converted to a text only file is there a
reason this is happening?

I've never seen that. Try attaching it to a rich-text format message.

Outlook does some strange stuff when you send attachments it thinks may be
dangerous. I always change the extension to .abc when sending oft files, and
give instructions to the recipient to save the file and change it back to .oft
