Outlook Tasks are being received as Emails not Tasks

Hi whenever a co-worker send me a task it arrives in my
inbox as an email. Anyone got any idea why?

PS the co-workers are located in different countries and
so are on different exchange servers, and the versions of
the Exchange servers is not the same.
 
What version of Outlook are they using, do they type in your address or pick
it from an address book. It sounds like they need to ensure that they have
set it to send as Rich Text. When your address is in the TO field have them
double click the address, can they set the sending format to Rich Text. Also
as a test make sure that the Reminder field is unchecked before they send!
