Outlook Task List - Custom Column

I have connected my SharePoint task list to Outlook and can see the
information. The ability to group my tasks by a column is useful but I'm
wondering if it is extensible.

Question - Can I define a custom column in my SharePoint task list and have
that column available in my Outlook task list to facilitate intelligent
grouping?

That being the case I would like to modify the question. When you "Connect
to Outlook", what information does Outlook have available as it pertains to
the SharePoint tasks being linked?

What are the currently available fields that I AM able to manipulate. Which
fields are pulled from Sharepoint and how do they map to the Outlook elements.

Thank you,

Jesse

Wouldn't we all. I don't think we'll see it in this version, though.

You're asking about SharePoint 2007 and Outlook 2007, right?

You get the standard fields from SharePoint and they map to the obvious fields in an Outlook task (e.g. due date). Nothing custom, though.

Sorry, it took so long to get back to you.
