i have just downloaded the upgrade to internet explorer and have lost the
link tab to outlook ,i have looked in the options menu etc but am unable to
find it,any help gratefully received.thanks

Not sure what you mean, but the star on the left top is your Favorites where
you'll find Links. Also, you can right click on an empty spot on the toolbar
and recheck Links and your old list will appear. I had to close and reopen IE
before the Links appeared and it had to be dragged into postion.

Mary,
i used to have an envelope in the task bar at the top which opened up
outlook but i dont seem to be able to get one now any ideas?
thanks for your earlier response
jez

Right click on the toolbar and select Customize. Add whatever you want from
the available toolbar icons to your toolbar.

I think I have a similar problem. I also used to have a black toolbar on my computer with outlook icons and commands for adding appointments and notes and contacts.... This toolbar was there even when the outlook program was not running or open. I had to reinstall my windows and reinstalled my software, but now I do not see this tool bar or any option to turn it on at all. Once again it is not the tool bar that is in the program itself, but it runs all the time. It is just like the blue start tool bar from Windows XP on the bottom of my screen, except that it was black and was on the side of the screen.

Any suggestions

What version of Outlook? What you describe sounds like the Microsoft Office
Shortcut Bar, an application included with Outlook/Office through version
2002. See if this program is listed under 'Start|Programs|Microsoft Office
Tools'
