Outlook - Synchronizing Folders

Guest

When sending/receiving in Outlook 2007 I get an Icon in the Taskbar. When I
mouse over the Icon I get a message "Microsoft Outlook is Synchornizing
Folders". This causes Outlook to run very slowly.

I'm running Office 2007 in Vista Home Premium and accessing email via
POP3/SMTP over broadband.

Any ideas as to how I can stop this unnecessary Synchronizing?

Many thanks in advance
David

Synchronising is when OL is polling for mail (auto send/receive)
Check your options for this & set polling for not less than 10 minutes
Also any antivirus addin can cause resource problems
