Lately I see an icon in my my "notifications area" next
to the time at the right bottom of my screen. When I
point over the icon a bubble declares: "Microsoft Office
Outlook in synchonizing folders". What is this about?
I am using Outlook 2003 and Windows XP.

I have the same problem. I would like to turn it off and have not been able
to find a way to do that. Help please

It ususally means you're using cached mode and that Outlook is synchronizing
your offline folders with the Exchange mailbox.

If you're using Outlook in cached mode with Exchange, turn off cached mode.
