Outlook slow to load and to reply to emails

Lately, Outlook is taking longer to load and quite a long time when I press
"reply." I don't have any spyware or virus showing when I run scans so I am
really at a loss. Any help would be appreciated
 
Hard to say what is going on without any configuration details to work with.
If it works correctly in Outlook Safe Mode, it is probably caused by an
add-in that you have installed.

To start Outlook in Safe Mode use;
Start-> Run; outlook.exe /safe
