Outlook has gotten painfully slow. Any ideas?

Loading messages in outlook has gotten painfully slow. Any ideas? I don't
have problems with my internet connection - it runs fine and at the same
speed as always. Downloading and sending messages is as fast always. Outlook
is just slow to load messages that in are in my inbox. Painfully slow. Could
I have changed a setting? No viruses during scans.

Version of Outlook and IE? Did you install any updates lately? Is it all
messages or just HTML formatted messages?

IE 7, Outlook 2003, No updates that I am aware of, but windows downloads
updates automatically. All messages.
