outlook slow opening htms emails

WHen I recieve an HTML or rich text email. It takes forever to opemn and it
also takes forever to reply to. My outlook behaves like it has a virus or
something. If I convert it ti plain text it opens quick.
I am using McAfee Viruse protection...Anyome have any ideas?????

It seems the trouble stems from a combination of the KB931768 patch, the
restricted sites list in IE and spybot S&D / SpywareBlaster adding to this
list.

OE apparently checks this list continously when opening / closing / and
using HTML in emails - the longer the list the greater the time

Hopefully there will be a "fix" for this soon. There are a number of make
do's suggested, they do help but no permanent solution as yrt.
